Upon your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, the Adventure A One Trek representative welcomes you and will help you to transfer to the hotel. You can then take a good rest in the hotel. Later you can explore around yourself if interested.
Today you plan to Drive to Ramechhap and fly to Lukla. You will be arriving at Lukla airport. At Lukla, meet the porters before starting the trek. The route to Phakding is an easy one. Just keep your eyes open as the finest views of Kusum Kanguru can be collected. Phakding is a small settlement on the Dudh Koshi river bank. Enjoy a comfortable night's stay at the Phakding tea house.
Start the day with a good breakfast. Get into Monjo then enter Sagarmatha National Park- the home to the greatest Himalayan flora and faunas. The dense forest of blue pine, deodar, rhododendron, and more. On a clear day, you can also catch the first glimpse of Mount Everest on the way up to Namche Bazar. After six hours of trek, you will be reaching Namche Bazar- which is also famous as the Sherpa capital. Namche is the home of famous mountaineers. You will be staying two nights at Namche before heading up.
After breakfast, you will be hiking up to Everest View Point to collect 360 views of the mountains. The viewpoint offers stunning views of the Himalayas including Mount Everest. Later in the afternoon, you can explore Namche Bazar or have a good rest in your hotel.
Taking a different route than Everest base camp, you will be walking a winding path to Kyangima. Along the way, you will get a chance to spot the wildlife including colorful Danphe, Himalayan musk deer, mountain goats, etc. The route then diverts north to reach the ridge of Mong and then to the beautiful village of PhortseThanga. Phortse onwards, you will be taking an uphill route to get to Dole for the night. You will be staying overnight at a local village.
Relatively short day for the trek. You will be first getting to LhabarmaKharka and then to Luza. From Luza, you will be taking a downhill route to get to Machhermo. In the afternoon you take a short hike to collect the excellent views of Mt Cho Oyo and other towering peaks. You will be spending the night at a local teahouse.
The scenic trail gradually leads to Gokyo Valley. The rocky path into the wonderful valley passing the glacial lakes is something amazing. Upon reaching Gokyo Valley, you will get a chance to explore the lakes after lunch. The views of Mt Cho Oyo look even better. Enjoy exploring the wonderful valley.
The day is dedicated to the hike to Gokyo Ri and the exploration of the glacial lakes of Gokyo. Gokyo Ri offers the panorama of the world’s highest peaks from Mt. Cho Oyo, Gyachung Kang, Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, Cholatse, and Taweche, and to the east rises Mt. Makalu. Then you will get back to the hotel for the lunch. Post lunch you will be exploring the beautiful lakes of Gokyo. You will be spending your night at a local teahouse.
One of the best days of the trek. The short hike leads you to Gokyori to collect the stunning views of Mt. Cho Oyo, Gyachung Kang, Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Cholatse, Taweche, and more. After collecting the wonderful views at Gokyo Ri, you will be then taking a descending route to Thagna for the night. You will be staying overnight at a local teahouse.
You will be starting the day pretty early. The first section of the route is uphill leading towards Tsho La over the rocky moraine. The route gets tougher if there is snow and ice. The walking is always exciting as it covers the greater views of Cholatse, Nirekha, and Taboche peaks. From the top, the route converts downhill to get to Dzongla for the night. You will be staying overnight at a local lodge.
Starting after breakfast, the walk leads to a short steep climb with greater views of mountains, then take a gradual uphill to reach Thugla, then take further through the Khumbu glacier to get to Lobuche. The sunset view at Lobuche looks stunning. You will be staying overnight at a local teahouse at Lobuche.
On the most exciting day, you will first trek to Gorakshep for three hours. You will then have your lunch there. Post lunch, leave your bag packs and start the hike to Everest base camp with some essentials (a day pack, water, a camera, and some chocolates). It takes ninety minutes to get to base camp from Gorakshep. Enjoy the moments, collect the memories, and leave a footprint at Everest base camp. Then retrace back to Gorakshep for the night.
Early morning, get to Kalapatthar to collect the best sunrise view. Kalapatthar is the better place to see closer views of Mount Everest. Collecting the sunrise view at Kalapatthar is the best experience of the whole trek. You will then get back to Gorakshep for breakfast, before taking the way back to Pheriche. You will be following the same way back to get to Pheriche. You will be spending your night at one of the many teahouses at Pheriche.
The easy and pleasant way. Although the distance is a bit longer, the route is mostly descending. You will be crossing the familiar village of Pangboche, Tengboche before getting back to Namche Bazar. At Namche Bazar, you can go to the café to enjoy the good coffee and the fresh bakes.
Retrace the same way back, that you have followed up. Get the final glimpse of Mount Everest, enjoy the stunning trails, and a piece of good luck to the trekkers going up. At Lukla, you will be saying goodbye to your porter as well.
After collecting all the greatest memories of the trek, today you will be flying back to Ramechhap and driving back to Kathmandu and you will be transferred to the hotel where you can take a relaxing rest.
