Everest Region Trekking

Everest Region is widely popular as the Khumbu region. The region of Mount Everest is located northeast of Nepal. Bordering Tibet, Everest is well known for its elevation ranging from low at 3300 meters and high at 8848 meters (the world’s highest elevation) above sea level. Homage to the famous Sherpa and unique Rai communities, Everest has the famous Sagarmatha National Park too.  Several Buddhist monasteries and the Mani walls are also part of the area. Vibrant local villages having unique cultures and traditions is a beauty of the region. The living style of the locals is unique and something interesting to watch.
Everest region is famous for its variety of trekking and expeditions. The most famous treks inside the Khumbu region are:

Everest region trekking is home to some endangered wildlife that includes snow leopards and Himalayan musk deer. Blue sheep and several birds can be found in this region as well. The Dudhkoshi and Bhotekoshi rivers are two of the big rivers inside the valley. A trip to the Everest region is more than a trek or an adventure. The trips around Khumbu are a life-changing experience. Upon completing the trip to Everest, it readies every single to accept the challenges life poses.
You can find good teahouses on most of the Everest region's trekking routes. Whereas, the expedition should be done in the tented camps. There is no such means of transportation available inside the region. Up from Lukla, the transportation methods are the human porters, yaks, mules, and the chopper only.  Being so remote, this region has nice food and accommodation facilities though. Not much faster, but the region also has internet connectivity on most of the trek routes.
The best time to travel inside the Khumbu region is spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) . Although tripping in the months of winter (December to February) is also doable. However, the months of monsoon (June to August) are not recommended due to the heavy rainfall.
