Dhaulagiri and Annapurna mountain ranges are the main mountains that can be seen during the trekking. Fishtail mountain aka Machhapuchre Himal is next pick of the trek. Like other trekking, this is also teahouse trekking. Good local lodges are built along the way with good facilities.
The best time to trek Annapurna base camp are spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). Whereas, trekking ABC in the months of December is also recommended. Although next two months of winter (January and February) are not recommended due to the high risks of the avalanches.
