Start the day with a good breakfast. Get into to Monjo then enter Sagarmatha National park- the home to the greatest Himalayan flora and faunas. The dense forest of blue pine, deodar, rhododendron, and more. On a clear day, you can also catch the first glimpse of Mount Everest on the way up to Namche Bazar. After six hours of trek, you will be reaching Namche Bazar- which is also famous as the Sherpa capital. Namche is the home of famous mountaineers. You will be staying two nights at Namche before heading up.
Taking a different route than Everest base camp, you will be walking a winding path to Kyangima. Along the way, you will get a chance to spot the wildlife including colorful Danphe, Himalayan musk deer, mountain goat, etc. The route then diverts to the north to reach the ridge of Mong and then to the beautiful village of PhortseThanga. Phortse onwards, you will be taking an uphill route to get to Dole for the night. You will be staying overnight in a local village.
Relatively short day for the trek. You will be first getting to LhabarmaKharka and then to Luza. From Luza, you will be taking a downhill route to get to Machhermo. After exploring the wonderful valley of Gokyo and a fantastic trip to Gokyori, today you will be trekking back to Dole. You will be following the same way back to reach Dole. You will be staying overnight at a local lodge.
The easy and pleasant way. Although the distance is a bit longer, the route is mostly descending. You will be crossing the familiar villages before getting back to Namche Bazar. At Namche Bazar, you can go to the café to enjoy the good coffee and the fresh bakes. You will be staying overnight at a local teahouse.
