As usual, if people take a drive from Kathmandu it is 35 kilometers to reach. Hiking distance from Kathmandu means, firstly, you need to take a drive from Kathmandu to Changunarayan. From the hiking path, you will see the Langtang Himal, Dorje Lakpa, Manaslu MountainGanesh Himal, and Annapurna Himalaya range.

Day 1 : Drive to Changunarayan and Hike up to Nagarkot 2,100 m

Today is hiking day. so after your breakfast, the car and driver will come with a professional guide. he will take you to the Changunarayan and visit the oldest Temple of Bishnu. then, starting to hike up to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is not any other historical or cultural hub, it is a viewpoint of the Himalayas.  it will take around 4 hours to get there. in between the hiking path, you will see the Tamang village and its traditions. Local people are doing their work on a farm. and many people are hiking through that path and people who have a short time drive up to Nagarkot. it is not necessary to spend the night there if you want to be out of the hustle-bustle city of Kathmandu. Day 2 : An Early Morning sunrise view and drive back to Bhaktapur for visit and back to Kathmandu.

Today is a special day for watching the view of the sunrise from the mountains including Mount Everest. This will be the best and most eye-catching view, take a photo as many as you want. then have breakfast and drive down to Bhaktapur. so your guide will show you around the old Town of Kathmandu Valley. Bhaktapur is known as an open museum.
