Machhapuchhre base camp Trek is a very popular trekking trail in the Annapurna Region. This trek offers a boonies experience and attractive views of Annapurna massif including Machhapuchhre. But while you are reaching up to Annapurna Base Camp you will see a 360-degree snow-capped mountain. 

From MBC you will see fishtail Mountain Hiuchuli, Annapurna South, and Annapurna III. Machhapuchhre base camp is just 2 hours before Annapurna base Camp. If you want to sink yourself into Nepal's nature and cultural lifestyle. The vision is to promote Pokhara and its surrounding rural areas. Machhapuchhre trekking trail traverses seven important villages, including Ghandruk, Chhumrong, and many others. But local people found a new path for MBC. MBC trekking is a newly found and popular trail for adventure lovers. 

TAAN Pokhara identified and developed trails for the Machhapuchhre Base Camp Trek. New trail dedicated to several remote villages including Lachok, Ghachok, Ribhan, Machhapuchhre, Lwang Ghalel, Sardikhola, and Dhital. Trekkers can do either full boar camping or homestay as per their interest and their time frame. This new path is known to very few people and newly introduced MBC trekking trail. 

Thus, it has a high potential to compete with Annapurna Circuit and Annapurna Base Camp Trekking. As you walk higher you will feel natural vegetation changes from the subtropical species to alpine species. Wildlife and natural greenery make this trek lively. Caves at Lahachock. 

A tea garden at Lawing and waterfalls are the other attractions of the trail. According to the Annapurna Conservation Project (ACAP), Annapurna’s conservation area of 7,629Sq. Km is a wonderful house of 1,226 species of flowering plants, 105 mammals, 518 different types of birds, 40 reptiles, and 23 amphibians. 

Everybody can enjoy perfect peace and silence while you are on a trek. Machhapuchhre Base Camp Trek begins with driving from Kathmandu to Pokhara's most beautiful lake city in Nepal. From Pokhara still, you need to drive up to Nayapul and then follow a trail through the bumpy road and it comes to terraces and dense forest valleys up to MBC.

The temperature in MBC is almost a maximum of 15 and a minimum minus 20 to onwards.
