Upon your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative. You will be then transferred to the hotel. Later, you can take a good rest or walk around the local market in your free time.
After the early breakfast, you will be taking a scenic drive to Pokhara. The route to Pokhara includes some small to larger settlements, green hills, the Trishuli River plus occasional views of the mountains. There will be several breaks for the food/drinks and the toilet. After checking into the hotel; you can go for an evening walk around Phewa Lake. The sunset view from the lakeside looks stunning. For the food and drinks, you can find so many good options in Lakeside.
This is your first day hiking starting from Nayapul. It will take one hour and forty minutes to drive and four/five hours to walk to Ullery. the path leads through a small village and there will be a checkpoint for your permit. after checking that, the path leads through a road where you can see some four-wheel-drive jeeps and some buses driving. it will be a sloping walk to Ramghai, the path leads higher up. you may stop somewhere to have lunch then hike straight up from Tikhedhunga it will be a bit off but the next day, it will be easy to reach Ghorepani.
Wake up with a good sunrise view at Annapurna South. Grab your delicious breakfast then tie your shoes for the day. The route to Ghorepani is mostly uphill and through the dense rhododendron forest. Rhododendron is a special flower as it is the national flower of Nepal. It would be a great walk if you were trekking in the months of the spring (March to May). Upon arriving, in Ghorepani, you can enjoy the panoramic views of mountains including Annapurna, Fishtail, Dhaulagiri, and more. Additionally, the sunset view of the Himalayas is an absolute stunner.
Get up early morning and make the hike up to Ghorepani Poon Hill. Poon Hill is regarded as one of the best mountain viewpoints in the Annapurna range. The greatest views of Annapurna South 7219m, Machhapuchhre (Fish-Tail) 6997m, Hiunchuli 6441m, Mount Dhaulagiri 8167m, Tukuche Peak 6920m, and more mountains can be seen. After collecting the wonderful sunrise view, you will then get back to Ghorepani for breakfast. Then you will be heading towards Tatopani. The route to Tatopani from Ghorepani is again through the dense rhododendron forest. Several waterfalls can be seen along the way too. Upon arriving at Tatopani, you can go for a bath in a natural hot spring. You will be spending the night at a local lodge.
Following the Kali Gandaki River, you will be gradually trekking uphill on the dusty road. Along the way, the wonderful views of the waterfalls and mountain views can be collected. With a further few pushes, you will be reaching Ghasa. Ghasa is a small village with few tea houses around. You will be staying overnight at a local lodge.
One of the most exciting and easy trekking days. The trek goes through the dense forest of rhododendrons and bamboo via the Lete River to get to Lete village, which is a small village. Lete onwards, you will be following the Kali Gandaki river till Larjung village. From Larjung, you will be making the final push to get to Marpha village. Marpha Village is widely known as the Apple Village too. You can taste different apple products in this village. You will be staying overnight at a local lodge.
Following the east bank of the Kali Gandaki River, you will be first trekking to Ekla Bhatti. You will then continue your trekking towards Kagbeni for the night. Kagbeni is a wonderful village with greater views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. You can enjoy the wonderful sunset view from Kagbeni in the evening. You will be staying overnight at a local lodge.
Taking the uphill route with the greater views of the mountains, you will be first getting to a village called Jharkot. Jharkot is a small village with wonderful people having unique cultures and traditions which is much influenced by Tibetan cultures. Then you will be making the further climb up to Muktinath for the night. Muktinath is a pilgrimage dedicated to Buddhist and Hindu religions. You can also offer good views of the snow-capped mountains from Muktinath. You will be staying overnight at a local lodge.
Explore the temple in the morning. Then you will be taking a downhill route to get back to Jomsom. Jomsom is the headquarters of the Mustang region. You can explore the local village in your free time. You will be spending the night at a local lodge.
With an early morning flight, you will be getting to Pokhara. In Pokhara, you can do half-day sightseeing to explore Phewa Lake, Devis Falls, and Gupteshwor Cave. In the evening, you can collect a good sunset view from Phewa Lakeside.
Collecting the great memories of the lower Mustang trek, you will be driving back to Kathmandu this day. In the evening, you can do some last-minute shopping around Thamel. Then you can prepare your luggage.
