Luxury Everest Base Camp Trek
The
Luxury Everest Base Camp combines adventure with comfort and easy for travelers. The trek starts with a scenic flight to Lukla 2840 meters, then trek through stunning Sherpa villages like Lukla, Cheplung, Ghat, and Phakding
Namche Bazaar 3440 meters.
You will enjoy luxury lodges with great amenities, even in remote areas of Nepal. The Everest Base Camp trek route includes stops at Tengboche 3860 meters. This place is famous for its old monastery and Mount Everest Views. The trail continues high up to Dingboche 4,410 meters, where you acclimatize with breathtaking panoramas of Amadablam and many other peaks like Tawoche Peak, Thamsherku Peak, Khongde Peak, etc.
Further along, you will be heading up to Lobuche 4910 meters before heading to
Everest Base Camp 5365 meters or kalapathar 5545 meters. Another three-hour walk to reach Gorakshep is 5,160m. On the same day, your journey continues to Everest Base Camp 5,365 meters, and enjoy the view of the Khumbu glacier and top of the Everest.
The next day will be your final day in the mountains. So, this day will be hard and memorable due to the altitude and cold in the morning. Early morning hike up to kalapathar 5,545 meters and enjoy the panoramic view of the 360-degree high Himalayas including
Mount Everest, Mount Makalu, Amadablam, Thamsherku, Kongde Peak, Kusum Kangaroo, and many more.
Finally, after that come back to the hotel and have breakfast, then, fly back to Lukla by helicopter and same day return to Kathmandu by Helicopter.
Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu at 1400m, and settle in a luxury hotel like a 4/5-star category Hotel. Explore the city or market and prepare for the next day's trek.
Day 02: early morning flight to Lukla 2840m and trek to Phakding 2610m. Take a scenic flight and you will see the best view from a flight if the weather is clear. Then walk through the sherpa villages like Cheplung, Thado Koshi, and Ghat and reach Phakding. Stay in a comfortable lodge.
Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3440m. Hike through the pine forests and cross suspension bridges, arriving at the vibrant Sherpa town of Namche. You can enjoy luxury accommodation with stunning views of the
high Himalayas and beautiful towns.
Day 04: Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar. You can take a rest or explore around the Everest View Hotel or Syangboche Village/ Khumjung Village and back to Namche Village and enjoy the club, pool house, or coffee shop.
Day 05: Trek to Tengboche 3860m Pass through the Rhododendron Forest and some small tea shops like Sanasa, and Phunki Thangnak and hike up to Tengboche. This place is known for its monastery and incredible views of Amadablam,
Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse,e and Nuptse.
Day 06: Trek to Dingboche 4410m, reaching Dingboche village enter the alpine Zone, pass pangboche, and enjoy the views of Khumbu Valley.
Day 07: Acclimatization in Dingboche. Today you can hike up to the Nagarjun Hill 5100 meters or explore the area while adjusting to altitude. Acclimatizing your health care to the high elevation is very important. If you hike to Nagarjun Hill, you will see fantastic views of the high Himalayas,
Khumbu Valley, and Khumbu glacier.
Day 08: Trek to Lobuche 4,910 meters. Reaching the Lobuche village is walking uphill and enjoying the alpine areas. Still, you will view the high Himalayas and many peaks like Cholatse, Tawoche, Khangtega, Amadablam, Labuche, and many more peaks.
Day 09: Trek to Gorakshep 5164 meters. Check in to the hotel then have lunch. After completing your things, take a water bottle, camera, gloves, warm hat, and sunglasses and hike up to the Everest Base camp. It will take around three hours to reach. Walking time will depend upon your walking. Return to Gorakshep for the night.
Day 10: Hike to Kala Patthar 5,545 meters and walk back to Gorakshep for breakfast, then fly back by helicopter to Lukla and same day back to Kathmandu. Climb kalapathar at sunrise for a spectacular view of Everest and many more high Himalayas. After returning to Kathmandu stay in the luxury hotel and relax.
Day 11: Departure head to the airport for your other adventures or back home.
Best Hotels or Lodge in Everest Base Camp Trek
There are many best hotels and lodges around the
Khumbu region, mainly this region is protected as Sagarmatha National Park in Nepal. First of all, the best hotel in Lukla is many of them within that also Yeti Mountain Home is the best and owned by the Sherpa family. Similarly, Phakding also Yeti Mountain Home have been best facilities in town and you will not feel cold around these hotels.
Namche Bazaar has many nice luxury hotels but within that also Yeti mountain home is best because this hotel is a chain hotel off the Thamsherku team who own the Yeti airline.
In Tengboche, Tasidelek Hotel and Rivendell Lodge are the best but they place is not many luxury hotels. Dingboche has the best lodge as good luck or others as well. But good luck is more popular due to the guide and porters.
Gorakshep and Lobucuhe have similar categories of hotels because altitude effect. Still, they have nice and warm rooms where you can have good sleep, but altitude makes you sleep a bit hard. Other things like food and drinks are great.

Noodles and Pasta: The choice of your food will be in noodle items or past, you can get fried, soup and spaghetti with vegetables or chicken are very popular.
Dal-Bhat: The staple Nepali meals include Rice, Lentil soup, Mix Vegetable curry, and pickles. It is feeling and offers unlimited refills. This food is very common and popular in Trekking trails in Nepal.
Momos: Their food is Tibetan-style dumplings are often stuffed with vegetables or meat and you can ask for cheese and potatoes which are served with spicy sauce.
Soups: Especially while you are hiking in high altitude garlic soup is the most-try. It has health benefits and warms your body temperature. You will find tomato, mushroom, and noodle soup around the Everest Trekking trails.
Pizzas and pancakes: Many teahouses offer basic pizzas or pancakes with honey jam or Jam. This will be much popular and Western countries, still mountain people are trying to do their best and make their guests happy.
