Altitude: You reach a very high point at Throng-la pass, 5,416 meters/17,769 feet. The risk of altitude sickness is real and can make the trek much harder. For doing this trek, you do not need to be an alite athlete, but good stamina, strength, and endurance are important. In this trek, the weather can change quickly, especially at higher altitudes. Cold, snow, and strong winds make it tougher. This trek is quite long, taking mental toughness and consistency matter.
If you are fit, patient, and acclimatize properly, it is very doable, and if you rush or underestimate the altitude, it can be extremely tough and risky.
Normally, the Thorong-la pass trek starts at Besisahar or Bhulbhule, a small town and headquarters of the Lamjung District in Nepal. Some trekkers begin walking from Bhulbhule or Jagat to skip the busy roads at the start of the trek. Alternative starting points to start trekking will be at Dharapani or Chame. Those who have a time limit and do the circuit trek, better to take a jeep to Chame and start hiking up to Manang and Thorang la pass.

Day 11: Drive to Tatopani 1400m 6/7 hours
Day 12: Drive back to Pokhara 860m. 5/6 hours
Day 13: Drive to Kathmandu

The Best time to trek to Annapurna circuit is during the pre-monsoon or Spring and post-monsoon or autumn season. In this time the weather is stable, skies are clear and temperatures are moderate.
The weather is quite nice, and warm days, blooming rhododendrons, and clear mornings to see the mountains. Beautiful flowers and greenery as well as less crowded than an autumn season.
The Temperature during this season at daytime will be 15 degrees Celsius to 22 degrees Celsius.
At Night, the temperature will drop 5 degrees to -5 degrees at higher elevations.
The weather is vibrant, with skies full of greenery plants, stable temperatures, and brilliant mountain views. Post-monsoon cleanness, Lush landscapes, and festive seasons like Dasain (Dasara) and Tihar (Diwali) add cultural Attraction to trekking routes. This is the busiest season, so teahouses are open, and trails are sparkling and crowded. It is better to book teahouses in advance.
The weather is heavy rain, Landslides, leeches, and poor visibility. You can see Lush landscapes, very insufficient tourists, and a very rare chance to see the High Himalayas.
There will be dangerous trails, flight postponements, and road distractions.
The Temperature is very cold and foggy in the morning. The weather is very cold, especially at high altitudes (Thorong-la Pass may close due to Snow). Very few trekkers accept the challenge and risk themselves. The temperature drops to -10 degrees and more than that at night.
The best months are October to November and April to May will be an ideal balance of weather and visibility. It is also great for flowers and warmer days.
Note: This Itinerary can be customized to your needs. And trek ends at Jomsom and flight to Pokhara or from Tatopani to Ghorepani poon hill and back to Pokhara, this plan should be changeable.
