We had a fabulous time with Dhruba. He is a fantastic tour guide and will quickly become your friend. He did an especially good job at the temples, explaining and answering all of our religious questions at the Hindu and Buddhist temples. He is a delight and you can’t go wrong with him as your tour guide.

Review for 13 days Everest Gokyo Valley Trek
Expecting to have a fun and stress experience in the hiking in Lantang Valley (to Kanjin Gumpa) and to get a taste on Nepal culture and history (which I miss in my last trips). The rain during the monsoon was not with in the expectation. Our guide Dhruba was great in supporting me the experiences due to the rain. Support during the hike, leach preventing (via herbs). Introduction to the interesting Tibetian Culture in the valley with the mandala, prayer wheels and local food produce. Really enjoyed the fresh vegetable from the gardens, Tibetan bread, Yak Milk, Yak Cheese, Tsampa Porridge. Not to mention the homemade pickle from our porter Dev. Good food (restaurant) recommendation for the momos, tofu, fried rice, lassi and Juju Dhau (the best yoguat). Mountain scenery was great at Kanjin Gumpa. The company of Dhruba, Dev and Vinod increased the experience. Thanks to Dev and Vinod that ensure all our stuff are safely transported between the accommodations. Nepal culture and history that was missed in the last trips, it was all well covered with the Kathmandu Historical sites tours provided by Dhruba. Visted 6 out of the 7 Unesco sites. (Hanuman Dhoka, Patan and Bhaktapur square, Buddha Stupa, Swayambhu and Pashupati) The explanation provided during the tour provide a good understanding Hindu and Buddhist culture. Being from South East Asia, the similarity on the architecture can be related to other historical site (Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia).

This is my second hiking trip with Mr. Dhruba, the 1st hiking trip to ABC was 2017 and I had a great moments with him and thanks to his wonderful services. that's why I'm happy and confidence that he and his team will not disappoint me. Adventure A One Treks, especially thanks to Mr. Dhruba the experience and caring guide with 2 fantastic porters Mr. Dev and Venoit. They provided an exceptional trekking experience during my recent trip to Langtang trek. even the trek is not a tougher trek but due to the monsoon weather, we experienced leeches and muddy trai, it made the trek more challengingalong the trek from start to finish, but with their professionalism and attention to detail were commendable. The team was knowledgeable, experienced, and ensured our safety throughout the journey. Mr. Dhruba and team are not just a to guide to us instead he and his team just like a family and friend to us, we talk and laugh through out the journey and those memories I will never forget. after we back to Kathmandu from Langtang, we spent 2 days for city tour in Kathmandu with Mr. Dhruba, with his knowledge and explaination, I have a new better understanding about the historical, religions and culture of Nepal. here I would like to say, thank you my dear friend Mr. Dhruba, I can't wait for my third visit to Nepal again.
