The Annapurna Circuit trek with Tilicho Lake is located in the western part of Nepal. It is in the Annapurna Himalaya range and the second popular destination in Nepal. The first popular destination for adventure seekers in Nepal is in Everest Region, where they want to see the top of the world. Normally, people who want to visit Nepal have the first choice of Everest Base Camp, and the second choice is be Annapurna region. Mostly, it can be the Annapurna Circuit Trek or the Annapurna Base Camp Trek
Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuvan International airport and depart for the Hotel
Welcome and Namaste to Nepal! Adventure A One Treks is ready to receive you at the arrival section of Kathmandu’s international airport. Upon your entrance, our team will support you with your luggage and transfer you to your booked hotel in Kathmandu. After check-in, you will be introduced to our Adventure One trekking guide and go over the Everest Base Camp trek itinerary, as well as receive a safety briefing during the trek.
Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar, then to Dharapani,1960m
9/10 hours’ drive, scenic drive through hills, Rivers, and villages, overnight at a tea House in Dharapani.
Day 03: Trek from Dharapani to Chame 2,710m
Walking time 5/6 hours, passes through forested trails, waterfalls, and local villages. Overnight in Chame
Day 04: Trek from Chame to Upper Pisang 3,300m.
Walking time 5/6 hours, view of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, Pisang Peak, and many more Himalayas, overnight at Upper Pisang for better acclimatization.
Day 05: Trek From Upper Pisang to Manang 3,540m.
Walking time 6/7 hours via Ngawol high route for better acclimatization, and better panoramic mountain views. Overnight in Manang.
Day 06: Acclimatization day in Manang
Short hikes to Gangapurna lake or Milerappa cave, an optional side trip to the ice lake. Rest and prepare for higher elevation. Overnight at Manang same hotel.
Day 07: Trek from Siri Kharka 4,060m
Walking time 4/5 hours, off the main trail toward Tilicho Lake. Annapurna II, Gangapurna, Tilicho peak, and many more peaks. Gradual walks with beautiful scenery and an overnight at Siri Kharka.
Day 08: Trek from Shiri Kharka to Tilicho Base Camp 4,140m.
Walking time 4/5 hours, very narrow trails with landslide-prone sections, Overnight in Tilicho base camp at a Tea house
Day 09: Hike to Tilicho Lake 4,919m and return to Sirikharka
Walking time 7/8 hours round trip, early morning start for best views, visit stunning high-altitude Tilicho Lake, Return to Siri Kharka for the Night.
Day 10: Trek from Siri kharka to yak Kharka 4,050m.
Walking time 6/7 hours return to the main trail to the Annapurna circuit, with views of the high Himalayas with panoramic scenery. Overnight at Yak Kharka.
Day 11: Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi 4,450m.
Walking time 4/5 hours, there will be an option to stay at high camp 4800m for a shorter next day ascent to Thorong-la.
Overnight at Phedi or High Camp.
Day 12: Cross Thorong La pass 5,416 m and trek to Muktinath 3800m
Walking time 7/8 hours, early morning climb to Thorong-la pass, and try to reach the sunrise view from Thorong-la. Have hot tea or coffee and enjoy on top. After a few minutes' break, descend to Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site of Hindu and Buddhist people. Overnight at Muktinath.
Day 13: Drive to Tatopani 1400m.
The drive from Muktinath to Tatopani covers approximately 80 kilometres, depending on the exact route and road conditions. It will take 7/8 hours to reach. The road is rough, mostly off-road, and Muktinath to Kagbeni is well well-paved road about 10 kilometres. Weather and landslides can affect travel time. After reaching Tatopani, you can relax at the Hot Spring. Overnight at Tatopani.
Day 14: Drive from Tatopani to Pokhara 860m
The drive from Tatopani to Pokhara is about 105 kilometres. It will take about 5/6 hours to reach Pokhara.
The road to Pokhara is a mix of rough mountain and paved sections. As well as travel time also depends on weather, road conditions, and traffic.
Day 15: Drive to Kathmandu from Pokhara
The drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu is one of the most common travel routes in Nepal, and most tourists travel via this road. The distance between Pokhara to Kathmandu is about 200 kilometres and it takes around 7/8 hours to drive. Time duration depends on road work, traffic, and the type of vehicle that you use.
The Section of paved highway and rough construction areas causes delays in driving. Occasional landslides or blockages occur during the monsoon season, which is June to September.

Day 16: Final Departure
Have breakfast at the hotel, and 3 hours before your flight departure time. Our team will transfer you to the airport. Goodbyes are always sad, but never forever, and we do hope to see you again soon for another trip to Nepal with Adventure A One Treks!
The Annapurna Circuit Trek is very famous and people want to go for this trek, can is possible due to the well-established trails with teahouse accommodations. Plenty of food and water stops, gradual altitude gains with acclimatization days. You can customize the trip to be shorter or longer because of the available road.
Tips for Beginners:
- Go Slow: don’t rush the itinerary-altitude sickness is real.
- Acclimatize: Stay hydrated, take rest days, especially in Manang Village.
- Pack goods Smart: lightweight gear, warm clothes, water purification tablets.
- Train a Bit: Walk or hike regularly for a few weeks before the trip starts.
- Hire a Guide or Porter: Increases safety and easy for you to succeed on the trip.
- Avoid Tilicho Lake: better to avoid the Tilicho Lake side trip if you are uncertain about altitude or steep sections.
- Down Jacket and Layers
- Sleeping Bag, -10 to 20 (higher elevation will be colder)
- Good Trekking Boots, (waterproof will be best)
- Some snacks or chocolate for quick energy recovery
- Water bottle, sunglasses, sun cream, and personal necessary things
- First Aid Kit with Diamox for AMS.
Spring season, March to mid-June- Rhododendrons and milder weather
Autumn (September to November)- Clear skies, great views, and nice scenery.
Local lodges along the Annapurna Circuit Trek trail offer a variety of foods. The menu is quite consistent across villages, with some regional variations.
Nepali Dishes:
- Dal Bhat: Lentil soup, Rice, Veggies and pickles, unlimited refills, very popular with trekkers.
- Mo:mo: Dumplings, veg, meat, and cheese
- Thukpa or Noodle soup

Pasta -Spaghetti, Macaroni
Porridge or oats
Toast with eggs (boiled, scrambled, fried, or omelette)
Pancakes (plain, apple, banana, and chocolate)
Fried Rice, Chowmain, Pizza, and many more.
Drinks:
Tea (Masala, Black, Ginger, Mint)
Coffee (Instant or French press in some areas.)
Hot lemon, Ginger Honey tea
Bottled water/filtered water
Most Trekkers stay in teahouses, which are simple guesthouses operated by local families.
Teahouse Features:
Private twin rooms (basic with wooden beds and foam mattresses)
Shared toilets (Mostly Squat-Type, sit toilets in some areas)
A common consuming hall with a stove or fire for warmth
Blankets are provided, but a sleeping bag is strongly recommended
Solar-heated showers are available in lower altitudes
Electricity and charging are available but may cost extra; limited access in high-altitude areas.
WIFI available in some villages unreliable or absent in remote areas.
Note: The Higher you go, the more basic and expensive things get. Always book in advance during peak season or arrive early in the day to secure a room.
