1. Decide the Best Time to Trek in Nepal: 

Normally, Spring and Autumn. In spring March to May, and in Autumn September to November, you can Trek and achieve the Final destination. In spring, the sky is clear, the Rhododendron and the temperature are moderate and warmer. Another best time to Trek in Nepal is Autumn, with the best visibility, stable weather, and vibrant landscapes.

Better to avoid Nepal trekking in winter and Summer due to rain, Snow, and flight delays. Similarly, the views of the mountain and low lowland will be impossible due to fog. 


2. Choose Your Trekking Style

4. Book Domestic Flights

Most Treks start with a flight to Lukla, 35 minutes, and this flight often departs from Ramechhap Airport in April, May, and October, November due to air traffic at Kathmandu. 5. Permit Required

6. Book Accommodation and Meals

Most Tea house lodges are booked through the Trekking Agencies and Local guides in Advance during the peak season. Accommodation will be mostly twin-sharing rooms, basic but cozy. Meals will be Dal Bhat, Pasta, Noodles, Soups, Eggs, and Hot drinks are widely available. These daily necessary things are arranged by a guide. Electricity, WIFI, and hot showers are available in most villages for a small extra fee.

7. Prepare Properly and Physically

Normally, while you plan a visit to Nepal, start preparing at least 6 weeks before your trek starts. Better to focus on cardiovascular exercise like hiking, running, cycling, etc. Strength training, like legs and core, and altitude acclimatization, if possible. 

Another necessary thing for Nepal trek is collecting the essential Gear like a Down Jacket, a sleeping bag, trekking poles, Sturdy Trekking Boots, Layered Clothing, a water bottle, and purification tablets for trekking routes.

8. Health and Safety

Especially, trekking in Nepal is not easy but not difficult. But in case, carry travel insurance that covers trekking up to 5,500 meters and emergency helicopter evacuation. Follow a gradual ascent itinerary with at least two acclimatization days in two different places, like Namche Bazaar and Dingboche. Drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol at high altitudes above 3 thousand meters.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu, 1400m

Day 02: Fly to Lukla 2,860m and trek to Phakding 2,610m. 3-4 hours walking.

Day 03: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar 3,440m 5-6 hours walking.

Day 04: Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar

Day 05: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche 3,860m 4-5 hours walking.

Day 06: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche 4,410m. 5-6 hours walking

Day 07: Acclimatization day at Dingboche

Day 08: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche 4,910m, 5-6 hours walking

Day 09: Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep 5,140m. hike to Everest Base Camp 5,364m. and back to Gorakshep, 7-8 hours walking.

Day 10: Hike to Kalapatthar 5,545m and trek back to Pheriche 4,240m, 6-7 hours walking.

Day 11: Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar 3,440m 6-7 hours walking.

Day 12: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla, 2,860m, 6-7 hours walking
